Biography

Born in 1987 in Frankfurt am Main, I discovered my passion for writing, journalism, and the arts early on. As a student, I hosted the online radio show “Auf den Geschmack gekommen” on Stone.FM and contributed to music fanzines such as Crazewire.de and Skipmag.de.

While studying Theater Studies, Political Science, and German Philology at Freie Universität Berlin, I gained early professional experience as a student assistant in community management at WELT Online and as a PR trainee at PURE Online. Alongside my studies, I wrote concert reviews and conducted interviews for the music platform regioactive.de. My bachelor’s thesis explored “The self-staging of hipsters” – comparing them to dandies and camp culture.

After an editorial internship at Musikexpress, I worked as an online editor and social media manager at the production company Kobalt Productions GmbH, contributing to TV shows such as ARTE Tracks, ARTE Metropolis, and ARTE Yourope. I also wrote as a freelance journalist for outlets like INTRO Magazine and WAZ Newspaper.

I later joined MBTV Produktions GmbH as an online editor for the film blog FredCarpet. As part of the ZDF cinema magazine Gätjens Großes Kino, I conducted interviews with international stars such as Hugh Jackman, Amy Adams, Dwayne Johnson, and Ridley Scott – from Berlin to New York.

From 2018 to 2020, I worked at C3 Creative Code and Content in the field of digital storytelling and corporate publishing. For clients including Volkswagen, Audi, Postbank, IKK classic, TÜV Rheinland, and Symrise, I conceptualized and produced reports, interviews, portraits, and videos for PR and corporate communications.

I then served as Senior PR Manager at the agency van Almsick & Team, overseeing national communications for numerous events organized by DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG – including tours and productions featuring Till Brönner, Disney On Ice, Christmas Garden, David Hasselhoff, Diana Krall, Randy Newman, and many others.

Since May 2023, I have been working as a communications advisor at the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), where I hold editorial responsibility for all content formats across the leading mobility platforms IAA MOBILITY and IAA TRANSPORTATION – including LinkedIn weeklies, blogs, newsletters, advertorials, the IAA aktuell trade fair newspaper, the IAA TRANSPORTATION podcast, and the Visionary Club podcast of IAA MOBILITY.

My articles have appeared in The Economist, Forbes, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, WAZ, Musikexpress, RollingStone, ZDF and ARTE.

I live in Berlin.
